New Issue: Philadelphia IDA prices $264.52 million Temple University revenue bonds

New York, June 24 – The Philadelphia Industrial Development Authority sold $264.52 million of series 2015 and 2016 revenue bonds for Temple University, said a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa3/A+/) were sold through Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

The deal included $130.44 million of first series of 2015 bonds and $134.08 million of first series of 2016 bonds.

The 2015 bonds are due 2016 to 2035 with term bonds due in 2040 and 2045. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5% with 0.48% to 3.75% yields. The 2040 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 108.492 to yield 3.94%, and the 2045 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 107.905 to yield 4.01%.

The 2016 bonds are due 2016 to 2029 with 5% coupons. Yields range from 1.05% to 3.94%.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital projects for the university, as well as to refund the university’s series 2006 bonds.
