Gabelli has 7.91% ownership interest in Telephone & Data Systems

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 24 - A group of Telephone & Data Systems, Inc. investors led by Gabelli Funds, LLC bought 13,150 shares of the company's stock on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23, bringing their total ownership interest to 7.91%.
The shares were priced from $34.999 to $36.561 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Between July 23 and Sept. 22 the investors bought 479,666 shares of the company's stock, a prior SEC filing said.
Gabelli and its affiliates beneficially own 4,206,412 shares of the Chicago telecommunications company.
