Teléfonos de México shareholder Slim owns 23% of class A shares

Charlotte, N.C., May 12 - Teléfonos de México, SAB de CV shareholder Carlos Slim Helú reported beneficial ownership of 92,690,376, or 23%, of the company's class A shares and 9,390,850,702, or 64.94%, of the company's class L shares in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

Teléfonos de México, based in Mexico City, provides fixed-line telephony services in Mexico, the United States and various countries in Latin America.
