Teléfonos de México shareholder Slim Helú reports ownership of class A, class L shares

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 20 - Teléfonos de México, SAB de CV shareholder Carlos Slim Helú reported beneficial ownership of 92,690,376, or 22.2%, of the company's class A shares and 9,288,069,602, or 63.78%, of the company's class L shares in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Slim Helú also reported the purchase of 17,941,700 L shares using $15.43 million from his personal funds.

Teléfonos de México, based in Mexico City, provides fixed-line telephony services in Mexico, the United States and various countries in Latin America.
