Telecom Italia launches benchmark euro-denominated 10-year notes at 3 5/8%; pricing Wednesday

Portland, Ore., May 18 – Telecom Italia SpA launched a benchmark euro-denominated offering of 10-year senior notes to yield 3 5/8% on Wednesday, according to a market source.

The Rome-based telecom’s Regulation S deal is expected to price shortly.

Joint bookrunner HSBC will bill and deliver. Barclays, BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse are also joint bookrunners.

BBVA, Banca IMI, Credit Agricole CIB, Mediobanca, MUFG and Natixis are the other bookrunners.
