S&P: Unity Media unchanged

Standard & Poor's said its ratings and outlook on Unity Media GmbH (B/positive) and its restricted subsidiary Tele Columbus GmbH & Co. KG (B/positive) are unchanged following Tele Columbus' sale of its assets in southwest Germany.

The agency said that Tele Columbus' operations in the State of Baden-Württemberg, which have more than 400,000 users and include Tele Columbus Süd-West GmbH (not rated), are to be sold to Kabel Baden-Württemberg GmbH & Co. KG (not rated) for an undisclosed sum.

In a related prior transaction, iesy Hessen GmbH & Co. KG (B/positive), another subsidiary of Unity Media, acquired more than 60,000 Tele Columbus customers and related assets in iesy's Hesse region, the agency added.
