Technicolor announces redemption of remaining tranche II, IIC NRS

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 2 - Technicolor said it redeemed its remaining tranche II and tranche IIC notes redeemable in shares (NRS) issued on May 26, 2010 as part of its restructuring, according to a news release.

The company said it redeemed about 10 million tranche II shares and 6 million tranche IIC shares at a rate of 0.163 per share. The redemption were completed on Dec. 31.

As part of the redemptions, the company will issue 2,669,936 new shares.

Following these transactions, the total number of outstanding shares is 335,543,841.

Technicolor, formerly Thomson SA, is abased in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and provides video technologies, systems, finished products and services to the media and entertainment industry.
