Tanner & Haley seeks examination of former business partner for allegedly mismanaged funds

Pittsburgh, Oct. 6 - Tanner & Haley Resorts requested an examination of former business partner Jeffery Gram in connection with mismanagement of funds, according to filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.

According to the company's motion to examine Gram, he managed an enclave of properties on the island of Nevis in the Caribbean nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis known as Villa Paradiso, and he allegedly mismanaged and misappropriated company funds.

Tanner & Haley, based in Westport, Conn., is a hospitality and real estate company. It filed for Chapter 11 on July 23. Its case number is 06-50245.
