New Issue: Polk County Industrial Development, Fla., sells $75 million bonds for Tampa Electric

New York, Nov. 29 - The Polk County Industrial Development Authority of Florida priced $75 million of series 2010 solid waste disposal facility revenue refunding bonds for the Tampa Electric Co., according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds are due Dec. 1, 2030 and have an initial term rate of 1.5%. The rate resets after March 1.

Proceeds will be used to retire the company's series 2007 bonds.

Based in Bartow, Fla., the authority provides funding for industrial development activities in the county.
