Talvivaara financial status report deadline pushed back to April 11

Pittsburgh, March 26 - The deadline for reports on Talvivaara Mining Co. plc and Talvivaara Sotkamo Ltd.'s financial status was extended to April 11 from March 28 by the District Court of Espoo, according to a news release.

The extension was made at the request of the administrator of the companies' corporate reorganization.

As previously reported, Talvivaara and the administrator are in discussions regarding additional financing solutions. The company said the progress and results of these talks will have a significant impact on the contents of the reports.

Helsinki-based Talvivaara Mining is a base metals producer with its primary focus on nickel and zinc.
