TallyGenicom granted stay of German affiliate's Chapter 15 case

Pittsburgh, March 20 - TallyGenicom, LP's request to stay the Chapter 15 bankruptcy proceeding filed Thursday by German affiliate TallyGenicom AG was granted, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

TallyGenicom, LP requested the stay to allow the Delaware court to decide what venue should be used for all of the bankruptcy cases. TallyGenicom AG's filing was made in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.

TallyGenicom, LP, a Chantilly, Va., provider of printing solutions, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 29. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10266.
