S&P drops Takefuji to D

Standard & Poor's said it lowered the long-term counterparty credit and senior unsecured debt ratings on Takefuji Corp. to D from CC following its filing for bankruptcy protection with the Tokyo District Court under the Corporate Reorganization Act.

The outlook is negative.
