Barington reports 1.77% stake in Syms

Charlotte, N.C., May 21 - Syms Corp. investors led by Barington Cos. Equity Partners, LP purchased 67,400 shares of the company's stock between April 9 to May 11, priced from $17.25 to $18.48.

The reporting persons beneficially own 259,978 shares, or 1.77%, of the Secaucus, N.J.-based off-price retailer's outstanding stock.
