By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Aug. 2 - Banc of America Securities LLC plans to price zero-coupon foreign-exchange basket notes due Aug. 31, 2009 linked to a basket of currencies for issuer AB Svensk Exportkredit, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket will include the Chinese renminbi and Indian rupee, equally weighted.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any appreciation of the basket currencies against the dollar multiplied by the participation factor, which will be at least 100% and will be determined at pricing. If the basket currencies depreciate against the dollar, the payout will be par.

The notes are expected to settle on Aug. 31.
