Sun-Times Media committee of unsecured creditors appointed by court

Pittsburgh, April 16 - Sun-Times Media Group, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by acting Region 3 U.S. trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Thomas J. Thibeault of Chicago Newspaper Guild; Mark Lowell Thompson of Argenbright, Inc. of Greenfield, Minn.; and Michael J. Stanek of Classifieds Plus, Inc. of Williamsville, N.Y.

Sun-Times Media is a Chicago newspaper company that filed for bankruptcy on March 31. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-11092.
