Sun-Times Media shareholder preps to push its nominees to company's board

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 3 - Sun-Times Media Group Inc. shareholder Davidson Kempner Capital Management LLC said it has filed its definitive consent solicitation materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shareholder will solicit consents to reconstitute the Chicago-based newspaper company's board by electing Davidson Kempner's four nominees to serve with one current member of the Sun-Times board, Robert Poile, according to a Davidson Kempner news release.
