Sunterra in acquisition talks with Diamond Resorts

Charlotte, N.C., March 9 - Sunterra Corp. said it is in discussions with Diamond Resorts LLC regarding a possible acquisition of Sunterra.

The company issued a response to a story in the Wall Street Journal, according to a news release.

Sunterra, a Las Vegas vacation ownership company, said no agreements have been signed and did not provide additional details.
