Sumner Regional Health Systems posts $696,893 June operating loss

Pittsburgh, July 20 - Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. reported a $696,893 loss from operations for June on $8.63 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

The figures showed a decline from the $390,418 of income from operations posted for May on $9.79 million in net revenues.

The net loss for June was $510,867, compared with $493,079 of net income for May.

The company had $12.39 million in cash and cash equivalents at June 30, up from $8.97 million at the end of May.

Sumner Regional, a Tennessee health care provider, filed for bankruptcy on April 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-04766.
