Aviation Finance Company arranges private placement to fund aircraft

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 16 - Aviation Finance Company Ltd. completed the placement of permanent financing with an international carrier to fund five Boeing 737-800 aircraft, according to a company news release.

Specific financing details were not provided.

"With current uncertainty around bank financing, we expect [export credit agencies] to continue to play a major role, but the private placement markets represent a growing source of finance that will blossom to meet the needs of our most important customers: investors and airlines," said Aviation Finance chief executive officer Douglas Brennan.

Dublin-based Aviation Finance arranges capital for and invests in aviation businesses.
