Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 6 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $3.84 million of 0% contingent buffered notes due June 1, 2018 linked to the Stoxx Europe 600 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 169% of any index gain. If the index finishes flat or falls but finishes at or above the 90% barrier level, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final index level is less than the initial index level.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter with JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as placement agents.
