STMicroelectronics holders put $910 million of LYONs

Pittsburgh, Sept. 24 - STMicroelectronics said holders of $910 million of its Liquid Yield Option Notes, or 99%, elected to put the notes for $806 million in cash, according to a company news release.

The company intends to redeem the outstanding $8 million LYONs for cash, the release said.

STMicroelectronics is a Geneva, Switzerland, semiconductor solutions company.
