Stericycle plans to issue $400 million 3.89%, 4.47% notes in October

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., July 22 - Stericycle, Inc. expects to sign a note purchase agreement in August with 22 institutional investors to purchase $175 million of new 3.89% seven-year unsecured senior notes and $225 million of new 10-year 4.47% unsecured senior notes, according to a company news release.

The sale of the notes is subject to the purchasers' due diligence and other conditions.

Stericycle expects to issue the new notes in October.

The company said it is selling the notes to diversify its capital structure and to take advantage of attractive interest rates.

Stericycle is a Lake Forest, Ill.-based provider of medical waste collection, transportation, treatment and disposal services and safety and compliance programs.
