New Issue: St. Barbara raises A$55.25 million from stock sale

New York, Feb. 3 - St. Barbara Ltd. has settled a private placement with a group of institutional investors for A$55.25 million.

The company issued 110.5 million shares at A$0.50 each.

Southern Cross Equities was the placement agent for the deal.

Of the shares issued, 95 million were sold to Resource Capital Fund II, LP, one of the company's existing shareholders.

Based in West Perth, Western Australia, St. Barbara is a gold, nickel and copper exploration company.
