Innovate Oncology changes name to Avantogen Oncology

Charlotte, N.C., June 30 - Innovate Oncology, Inc. said it has changed its name to Avantogen Oncology, Inc.

Effective at the open of business on July 3, the company's OTC Bulletin Board ticker symbol will be AVTO.

The name change reflects the closer alignment of the company with Avantogen, Ltd., which recently acquired a controlling interest in the company.

In addition, the name continues to reflect the company's heritage and commitment to the research of cancer therapeutics.

The biopharmaceutical company, specializing in oncology products, moved its offices to Los Angeles from San Diego.
