Avanti Communications sets notes interest payment date for April 30

Pittsburgh, April 6 – Avanti Communications Group plc has scheduled a record date of April 20 and payment date of April 30 for the payment of interest on its senior secured notes, according to a news release.

The payments will include interest for the period ended March 31 and interest on an overdue installment due for the period of April 1 to the payment date.

In both cases, interest will be paid in kind.

The company said the payment schedule is subject to completion of Avanti’s previously announced debt restructuring and occurrence of a related settlement date.

London-based satellite communications provider Avanti made a Chapter 15 bankruptcy filing on Feb. 21 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The Chapter 15 case number is 18-10458.
