New Issue: Citigroup sells $3.36 million buffer securities tied to S&P MidCap 400

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 18 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $3.36 million of 0% buffer securities due March 15, 2019 linked to the S&P MidCap 400 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 90%. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 12% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 12%.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
