GS Finance to price 24- to 27-month digital notes on S&P MidCap 400

Columbus, Ohio, June 24 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 24- to 27-month 0% digital notes linked to the S&P MidCap 400 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be equal to the maximum settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,123 to $1,144 per $1,000 principal amount of notes and will be set at pricing. Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1765% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
