Goldman Sachs Bank plans 0.75%-1% CDs due 2022 linked to index basket

Madison, Wis., June 8 – Goldman Sachs Bank USA plans to price 0.75% to 1% certificates of deposit due June 30, 2022 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a term sheet.
The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 50% weight, the S&P SmallCap 600 index with a 25% weight and the S&P MidCap 400 index with a 25% weight.
Interest will be payable annually.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 0.5 times the basket return, subject to a minimum return of 0%.
The exact terms will be set at pricing.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. Incapital LLC is the distributor.
The notes will price on June 25 and settle on June 30.
The Cusip number is 38148DB29.
