New Issue: RBC prices $5.84 million PLUS on basket of two indexes, two funds

Chicago, Jan. 6 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $5.84 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Feb. 5, 2016 linked to a basket of two indexes and two exchange-traded funds, equally weighted, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the S&P MidCap 400 index, the Russell 2000 index, iShares MSCI EAFE ETF and iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any basket gain, up to a maximum return of 12%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management will handle distribution.
