New Issue: Barclays sells $2.8 million buffered SuperTrack notes tied to basket

New York, Aug. 19 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.8 million of 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Aug. 18, 2022 linked to a basket containing the S&P 500 index with a 76% weight, the Russell 2000 index with an 11% weight and the S&P MidCap 400 index with a 13% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any basket gain, up to a 13.65% maximum gain.
If the basket falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.
