Auxilium Pharmaceuticals files $150 million shelf

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 27 - Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. filed a $150 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. Securities may be convertible.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and other corporate purposes.

Auxilium is a biopharmaceutical company based in Malvern, Pa.
