Birmingham to redeem $75.27 million of 2009 Children's Hospital bonds

Norfolk, Va., May 2 - The Special Care Facilities Financing Authority of the City of Birmingham, Ala., called $75,265,000 of its series 2009 health care facility revenue bonds issued for the Children's Hospital, according to a notice.

The following will be redeemed at par plus applicable premium on June 1:

• $2.01 million of 3.5% bonds due June 1, 2015;

• $2,085,000 of 4% bonds due June 1, 2016;

• $2.17 million of 4.25% bonds due June 1, 2017;

• $2,265,000 of 4.5% bonds due June 1, 2018;

• $3.53 million of 4.625% bonds due June 1, 2019;

• $3,695,000 of 4.75% bonds due June 1, 2020;

• $3.88 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2021;

• $38.82 million of 5.75% bonds due June 1, 2029; and

• $16.81 million of 5.25% bonds due June 1, 2024.
