New Issue: Wells Fargo prices $5.08 million market-linked notes linked to ETFs

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 2 - Wells Fargo & Co. priced $5.08 million of 0% market-linked notes due June 7, 2017 linked to a basket of exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust with a 60% weight, the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund with a 30% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund with a 10% weight.

If the final basket level is greater than the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 106% of the gain. Otherwise, investors will receive par.

The final basket level will be calculated using the average component prices of the underlying ETFs. For each ETF, its average component price will be the average of its closing share prices on the last day of May and November of each year from May 2011 through May 2017.
