New Issue: RBC sells $634,000 buffered digital return notes on SPDR S&P 500 ETF

Chicago, Sept. 13 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $634,000 of 0% buffered digital return notes due Dec. 27, 2023 linked to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 7.1% if the ETF finishes at or above 85% of its initial level.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% of ETF decline below the 15% buffer.
