New Issue: Citigroup sells $1 million buffer securities on SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust

Chicago, March 2 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1 million of 0% buffer securities due Sept. 13, 2024 linked to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the fund finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fund gain, capped at par plus 20.5%. If the fund falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% fund decline beyond 20%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
