Fidelity's Spartan U.S. Bond Index Fund inks fee waiver agreement
By Toni Weeks
San Diego, Jan. 4 - The Spartan U.S. Bond Index Fund, formerly the Fidelity U.S. Bond Index Fund, announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission a change to the fees for its Fidelity Advantage class shares.
Effective Feb. 1, the investment adviser, Boston-based Fidelity Management Research Co., has agreed to reimburse the fund to the extent that total operating expenses, excluding interest, taxes, lending costs, commissions, extraordinary expenses and acquired fund fees, will not exceed 0.11% of the average net assets. The arrangement will terminate Oct. 31, 2013.
Formerly, the adviser did not have an expense reimbursement agreement for the shares.
