NIB, SpareBank launch NOK 1 billion loan for environmental projects

New York, March 13 – Nordic Investment Bank and SpareBank 1 SMN launched a NOK 1 billion loan facility for small- and medium-sized enterprises and environmental projects in Norway, according to a notice.

The six-year loan will be used for lending to businesses in real estate, agriculture, forestry, fisheries and transportation, as well as for environmental projects.

Eligible projects will comply with NIB’s sustainability requirements.

NIB is a financial institution with headquarters in Helsinki. SpareBank is a financial services provider based in Trondheim, Norway.
