Barclays to automatically redeem iPath Short Extended S&P 500 ETNs

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 7 - Barclays Bank plc will redeem its 0% iPath Short Extended exchange-traded notes due Nov. 30, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 Total Return index on Sept. 14, according to a company news release.
An automatic termination event occurred at 4 p.m. ET on Friday. An automatic termination event occurs when the intraday indicative value of the ETNs is less than or equal to $10.00 on any trading day.
The redemption amount is $9.9312 per $50.00 principal amount of notes.
The notes trade on NYSE Arca under the symbol "SFSA," and their Cusip number is 06740P700.
