HSBC plans 50/150 performance securities on S&P 500 Low Volatility

Madison, Wis., Feb. 5 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% 50/150 performance securities due Aug. 28, 2018 linked to the S&P 500 Low Volatility index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above the initial level, the payout maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to 50% of index losses.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The securities will price on Feb. 25 and settle on Feb. 28.

The Cusip number is 40432XBC4.
