UBS plans capped buffer participation securities on S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 14 – UBS AG, London Branch plans to price 0% capped buffer participation securities due Aug. 2, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, capped at par plus 10%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

UBS Securities LLC and UBS Investment Bank are the agents.

The notes will price on Jan. 24.

The Cusip number is 90270K2L2.
