New Issue: HSBC sells $127,000 buffered market participation notes on S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 23 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $127,000 of 0% buffered market participation securities due Dec. 19, 2024 tied to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum payout of par plus 40%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.
