New Issue: Credit Suisse prices $1.53 million BARES on S&P 500 index
Chicago, Sept. 16 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch priced $1.53 million of Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities due March 3, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the index return, subject to a maximum return of 9%.
If the index declines, but not more than 10%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to the losses of the index beyond the 10% buffer.
