GS Finance to price leveraged index-linked notes tied to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., July 26 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged index-linked notes due in 14 to 16 months tied to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus at least 3 times the index return, capped at $1,128.10 to $1,150.60 per $1,000 note.
Otherwise, the payout will be par plus the return of the index will full exposure to the decline.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The Cusip number is 40056FVY8.
