New Issue: Citigroup prices $1.2 million buffer notes linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., July 8 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $1.2 million of 0% buffer securities due Dec. 30, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the index return, subject to a maximum return of 19%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.

The note are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
