New Issue: HSBC prices $2.5 million buffered autocallable yield notes linked to S&P, Russell

Columbus, Ohio, May 10 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $2.5 million of 0% buffered autocallable yield notes due Nov. 4, 2020 linked to the lesser performing of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par plus a call premium of 10% per year if each index closes at or above its initial level on any semiannual call observation date.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par unless either index drops by more than 20%, in which case investors will lose 1.25% for each 1% that the lesser performing index declines beyond 20%.
