New Issue: RBC prices $1.34 million PLUS with 3x leverage, cap linked to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., April 16 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $1.34 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Aug. 5, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain up to a maximum return of 12.9%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the agent. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is handling distribution.
