Morgan Stanley will price buffered PLUS due 2021 linked to S&P 500

Knoxville, Tenn., April 11 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 28, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the index return, subject to a maximum return that is expected to be 19.5% to 24.5% and will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index declines by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline in the index beyond 10%.

The notes (Cusip: 61768D4S1) will price on April 25 and settle on April 30.
