TD Bank plans digital buffered notes due 2022 linked to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., April 8 – Toronto-Dominion Bank plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due May 4, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is greater than or equal to 85% of its initial value, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital return of between 17.65% and 18.65%. The exact digital return will be set at pricing.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the 15% buffer.
TD Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price April 30.
The Cusip number is 89114QK72.
