Morgan Stanley plans five-year buffered PLUS linked to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 15 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due March 5, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 115% of any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the 20% buffer and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the buffer.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price Feb. 28.
The Cusip number is 61768X226.
