New Issue: Barclays sells $1.94 million buffered SuperTrack notes linked to S&P

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 29 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1.94 million of 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Jan. 28, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index closes above its initial value the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.75 times any index gain, capped at par plus 20%.

If the index falls by up to 20% investors will receive par. If the index falls below 20% investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
